"All things come of thee, O Lord, and of thine own have we given thee." This traditional sentence at the receiving of the offering on Sunday mornings captures the essence of stewardship. All that we have - beginning with life itself - is a gift from God. We are stewards, charged with using those gifts of time and talent and treasure well, returning some portion back to God in joy and thanksgiving.
