St. Paul Choir

The St. Paul Choir sings each Sunday (September through June), as well as Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, and Holy Week.  Additionally the choir each year offers a Service of Advent Lessons and Carols and sings several services of Evensong.   While the music sung by the choir is rooted in the Anglican musical tradition, it is supplemented by World music, Gospel music, Spirituals and chants from Taizé, France.

The choir rehearses Thursdays, 7 to 8:30 PM and Sunday at 9:45 AM.  Rehearsals are held in the choir room.  The choir leads the congregation in singing the hymns and service music at the 10:30 AM Sunday Eucharist.  The choir sings an anthem at this liturgy.

Membership in the St. Paul Choir is open.  Anyone high school age and older is welcome.  Reading music or having a trained voice is not required.  There are no auditions.  If interested in more information about this choir, please contact Patrick Campbell, director of music.
